Happy Halloween! My mom never liked this holiday, but I always loved dressing up, and still do. For me it's all about the fun of putting a costume together. I don't think I have ever purchased a costume off-the-rack. This year I put 3 costumes together.
The first look was for my cat Peach, who was dressed to kill as an Angry Bird--she's already perfectly round and angry so it fit her personality perfectly.
I do not have a picture of my second look. I was a stereotypical, female, punk rocker. It was unintentionally terrifying and completely un-flattering. Pictures to come... maybe... if I can bring myself to make them public.
Sometimes the simplest costumes are the best ones. We didn't have much time to prepare for the last Halloween Party of the season, and I was bound and determined to be warm. This is what happened:
I dressed up as my husband, who wore his usual (looking slightly like Freddy Kruger). That's me on the left, in case you couldn't tell. Felt is a miracle fabric, don't have a home without it! They say after you've been married awhile you start looking alike.
